Affiliate Disclosure Policy
We believe in full transparency. This page explains how AirConditionSolve earns revenue, how that may influence our content, and what it means for you as a reader.
📋 On This Page
Amazon Associates Disclosure
Required Statement: AirConditionSolve is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.
As an Amazon Associate, I earn from qualifying purchases.
What this means: AirConditionSolve participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program. When you click on certain product links on our site and make a purchase on Amazon.com, we may earn a small commission — at no additional cost to you whatsoever. The price you pay on Amazon is identical whether or not you use our link.
Commission rates: Amazon affiliate commissions typically range from 1% to 10% depending on the product category. HVAC parts, tools, and appliances fall within standard commission tiers. Exact rates are set by Amazon and may change; we do not control them.
Free products: Occasionally, manufacturers or brands may provide products for review purposes at no charge. When this occurs, it will be clearly disclosed within that specific article. Receiving a free product never guarantees a positive review.
Cookie duration: Amazon affiliate cookies last 24 hours from your first click. If you add an item to your cart within that window, the cookie extends to 90 days for that item.
How to Spot Affiliate Links
Amazon links may appear as “Buy on Amazon,” “Check Price,” or “View on Amazon” buttons. They point to amazon.com.
Disclosure Location
Every post containing affiliate links displays a disclosure notice at the top of the article, before any links appear.
What We Don’t Do
We never artificially inflate product ratings, accept payment for rankings, or recommend products we wouldn’t personally use.
Your Cost
Zero difference. You pay the exact same Amazon price. Our commission is paid by Amazon from their margin — not from you.
FTC Endorsement Guides Compliance
Material connections disclosed: The FTC requires that any “material connection” between a content creator and a brand be clearly disclosed to readers. A material connection includes — but is not limited to — receiving payment, free products, discounts, or any other compensation in exchange for coverage or endorsement.
Our commitment: AirConditionSolve discloses all material connections clearly and conspicuously, meaning:
- Disclosures appear before any affiliate links in an article — not at the bottom or buried in footnotes.
- Disclosures use plain language a general audience can understand — not legal jargon.
- Disclosures are visually prominent — not hidden, light-colored, or in small print.
- Disclosures appear on every page that contains affiliate links or sponsored content.
Opinions are our own: All product opinions, star ratings, recommendations, and editorial commentary expressed on AirConditionSolve represent the genuine views of our editorial team. They are not influenced by affiliate commission potential, advertiser relationships, or third-party payment.
Sponsored content: If we ever publish a sponsored post or paid partnership, it will be labeled “Sponsored,” “Paid Partnership,” or “Advertisement” at the top of the content — clearly visible before any editorial content begins. Sponsored content is rare and will never misrepresent a product.
| FTC Requirement | Our Practice | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Clear & conspicuous disclosure | Orange disclosure box at top of every post with affiliate links | ✓ Compliant |
| Disclosure before affiliate links | Disclosure box always appears before first affiliate link in article | ✓ Compliant |
| Plain-language wording | “We may earn a commission…” — no legal jargon used | ✓ Compliant |
| Disclosure on social media posts | #ad or #affiliate hashtag on all social posts linking to affiliate content | ✓ Compliant |
| Free product disclosure | Disclosed within individual article when applicable | ✓ Compliant |
| No deceptive endorsements | Star ratings and recommendations reflect genuine editorial opinion | ✓ Compliant |
Google AdSense Disclosure
How ads are displayed: Google automatically selects and serves advertisements based on the content of our pages and/or your browsing history. AirConditionSolve does not select individual advertisers and is not responsible for advertiser content. Ads are labeled “Advertisement,” “Sponsored,” or identified by Google’s AdChoices icon (▶).
Personalized advertising: Google may use cookies and similar technologies to show you personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time by visiting: google.com/settings/ads or by visiting aboutads.info.
Revenue model: We earn revenue when visitors view or click on AdSense advertisements displayed on our pages. This income helps fund the free content we publish. Ad revenue does not influence editorial decisions, product rankings, or article content.
Google Privacy Policy: For more information on how Google collects and uses data from our site, please visit Google’s Privacy & Terms.
CCPA / California users: California residents have the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. To exercise this right, please use Google’s opt-out tools linked above or contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.
In-Post Disclosure Policy
Every article, review, or guide on AirConditionSolve that contains affiliate links displays a dedicated disclosure notice at the very top of the post — before the introduction, before any product recommendations, and before any affiliate links appear.
Standard in-post disclosure wording used across all articles:
Which content types carry in-post disclosures:
- Product review articles
- Best-of roundup / comparison articles
- How-to guides that recommend or link to products
- Buying guides
- Any article containing an “Buy on Amazon” or “Check Price” link
Content without affiliate links: Pure informational guides, troubleshooting articles, and how-to repairs that contain no affiliate links do not require an in-post disclosure. However, a sitewide disclosure is always present in the site footer.
Pricing & API Accuracy Notice
Amazon Pricing Notice (Required): Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply to the purchase of this product.
How we display prices: Where prices are shown on AirConditionSolve, they are either pulled via the Amazon Product Advertising API (which updates automatically) or manually noted at time of writing. Manually noted prices are marked with a publication date and may not reflect current Amazon pricing.
Always verify: We strongly recommend always checking the current price on Amazon before making any purchase decision. Prices fluctuate due to sales, promotions, demand changes, and seller competition. AirConditionSolve assumes no liability for purchasing decisions made based on prices displayed on this site.
API data freshness: When prices are displayed via the Amazon PA API, they refresh automatically. However, there may be a delay of up to 1 hour between Amazon’s live price and the price shown on our pages.
Non-Amazon retailers: Where we compare prices from other retailers (e.g., Home Depot, Lowe’s, Best Buy), prices are manually researched and noted at time of article publication. These prices are not updated automatically.
Editorial Independence
Our editorial process is independent of our revenue. AirConditionSolve earns money through affiliate commissions and advertising. However, these revenue sources have no influence on which products we recommend, how we rate them, or what we write about them.
How we select products to review:
- Products are selected based on popularity, reader questions, and category importance — not commission rates.
- High-commission products do not receive inflated ratings.
- Low-commission or no-commission products receive the same editorial treatment as top-earning affiliate products.
- Negative reviews are published when warranted, regardless of affiliate relationship.
Paid links & sponsored content policy: AirConditionSolve does not accept payment for editorial coverage or positive reviews. We do not insert paid links into existing editorial content on behalf of third parties. Any sponsored content is clearly labeled as described in Section 2.
Advertiser relationships: Having an AdSense advertisement or Amazon affiliate link on a page does not mean we endorse that advertiser. Google selects ads automatically based on content context. We are not responsible for and do not endorse third-party advertiser content.
Other Affiliate Programs & Partners
In addition to Amazon Associates, AirConditionSolve may participate in the following affiliate programs. All are subject to the same disclosure standards described on this page:

| Google AdSense | Display advertising (contextual & personalized) | ✓ Active |
